Political Mail Notice
Notify USPS of your mailing to help us plan in advance. We recommend submitting the form at least 2 days in advance of the mail’s arrival at a facility. A USPS® Political Mail Strategist will also receive confirmation of the notice.
Create a NoticePolitical Mail Inquiry
Notify USPS and a Political Mail Strategist of issues related to a political mailing. Customers may initiate an inquiry to report concerns such as delivery delays or damaged, misdelivered, or undelivered mail.
Report a ProblemHow to Use Tag 57
Tag 57 identifies campaign mail to provide greater visibility as it moves through processing.

Obtain Tag 57 by contacting your local Post Office™ facility of business mail entry unit (BMEU).

Affix Tag 57 to the front end of each tray, the strap of label holder of each sack, or to the top 4 corners of each pallet of your mailing.

Complete Postal Statement Form 3600 or 3602, and mark “Yes” when asked if your mail is political mail.
